What is the minimum starting age for badminton coaching at Nitesh Academy?
The minimum starting age for our Beginner Batch is 3.5 years. At this entry stage, training establishes fundamental motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and movement patterns required to progress through the academy's five-stage training pathway: Beginner Batch (3–6 months), Intermediate Batch (6–12 months), Pre-Advanced Batch (8–12 months), Advanced Batch (1–2 years), and Elite Batch.
How do I book a trial session?
You can book a trial assessment directly through our website by filling out the Trial Booking form or messaging us on WhatsApp. Our coaches will evaluate your child's current fitness level, coordination, and stroke foundation to recommend the appropriate training batch.
What equipment do beginners need to bring on their first day?
Students should wear comfortable athletic sportswear and must bring non-marking gum-sole badminton shoes (outdoor running shoes are strictly prohibited on synthetic mats to protect court surface integrity). For trial sessions, loaner rackets are available upon request.
Where is Nitesh Badminton Academy located?
Nitesh Badminton Academy operates its primary headquarters at Sector 14, Vashi (Navi Mumbai), and its dedicated high-performance tournament training center at Old Viva College, Viva College Road, Opposite Kingston Tower, Virar West (Maharashtra – 401305). An additional active training facility operates behind Dattani Square Mall, Umelman, Vasai West (401202).
What does the High-Performance Elite Batch involve?
The High-Performance squad is an invitation and trial-based programme for ranked state and national athletes. It involves 6 to 8 hours of daily rigorous training including high-speed multi-shuttle drilling, 2-on-1 overload simulation, gym and sand conditioning, and competition-focused tournament coaching.
How do program admissions, batch placement, and training schedules work?
Batch timings range from early morning (06:00 AM) to late evening (09:30 PM) across our centres. Batch placement and training schedules depend on the player’s assessed skill level and training track. Contact the academy or attend an on-court assessment trial for current batch availability and schedule options.
